Course Objectives

This course provides the foundational knowledge required to prepare for the CCNA Wireless Certification [Associate level] Exam (640-722).

  • Upon completing this course, you will be able to:Create an ad-hoc connection and analyze the communication
  • Configure a controller and access point (AP)
  • Convert an autonomous AP to controller-based mode
  • Install and configure a mobility express wireless controller and AP
  • Configure EAP-FAST authentication with WPA
  • Configure the controller and the AP from the WCS interface
  • Work with the map editor tool
  • Back up the controller configuration and WCS database

Course Content

The Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials application is a 5 days ILT course, designed to prepare you for the CCNA Wireless certification, an associate level certification specializing in the wireless field. The IUWNE course is a prerequisite for the CCNP Wireless curriculum (Cisco Certified Wireless Professional).Wireless CCNP curriculum for use, positioning, planning, implementation and operation of Cisco prepare WLAN networks.

The aim is v2.0 IUWNE activities and practical information to prepare for design, installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in small and medium-sized systems companies and businesses.This Associate level course aims to entry-level training, including WLAN basics, practical exercises creating a Cisco LAN Access Points and WLAN Controller, Installation and configuration of wireless clients, implementation provide wireless security and operation of Cisco WCS.
